  • Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Canadian Physiotherapy Association, 2000
  • Certified by Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2004
  • Vestibular Competency Based Rehabilitation Course - successfully completed in April 2008, Emory University, Atlanta 2008
  • Advanced Vestibular Competency Course - successfully completed in August 2011, Duke University, North Carolina

 

  • Established Grand River Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre in 1995
  • Qualified to assist with post graduate courses offered by CPA

  • Researched behavioural neuroscience-published 2 articles

  • Graduated from the College of Physiotherapy, Poland in 1986
  • Registered Physiotherapist in Ontario since 1995
  • Experienced with geriatric and ambulatory patients
  • Attended manual therapy courses and completed Level 1 Acupuncture, Dry Needling, ROST Moves and Incontinence courses

Office Manager

Katrina joined Grand River Physiotherapy in 2009. Starting off as an assistant, she quickly transitioned into the Office Manager role. Katrina is known for her quick wit and smile, which are both provided free of charge. In her free time she enjoys camping and spending time with her children. She occasionally acts as the assistant to the assistant.

Katie joined Grand River Physiotherapy in 2020 after spending 5 years working in finance. She has over 12 years experience working in customer service, and is known for her great smile. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, skydiving, and extreme sports. She also loves dogs.

Carma joined Grand River Physiotherapy in 2012 as a Physiotherapy Assistant. In her free time, she volunteers with various organizations. When she's not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Sandy joined Grand River Physiotherapy over 20 years ago working as a Physiotherapy Assistant. When Sandy isn't at work, she enjoys spending time with her children and family.

Physiotherapy Assistant

Sara joined Grand River Physiotherapy in 2019. She has been working as a Physiotherapy Assistant since 2018. Sara attended Conestoga College for the OTA/PTA dual trained program. She has experience working in long-term care homes and clinical settings. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.

Physiotherapy Assistant

Valerie joined Grand River Physiotherapy in 2015. She originally went to school for Fitness and Health Promotion. She became a personal trainer and worked for 2 years gaining experience in physical exercise and functional movement. Valerie went back to school for Physiotherapy Assistant, graduated from Trios College in 2015. In her free time she enjoys music and spending time with her family.
